The War In Iraq Is Out Of Control
American Soldiers And Citizens Are Dying Every Day

Ominous Signs For An Attack On Iran
Without Appropriate Diplomacy

3-5 Years Before Iran Has A large Weapon

Where Are Reasonable Minded Men And Women, Workers, Students,
Patriots Of The Truest Kind, Concerned Citizens Willing To Stand Up?

Call To Protest

This Thursday, September 27, 2007.
Downtown Springfield On The Square, 5 P.M.

The signs of expanded war are growing more ominous with each passing week. Our white house administration is intent on continuing the Iraq War that was contrived for the sake of profit and oil that has nothing to do with the freedom of America. The white house is intent on attacking Iran within months... without an appropriate level of diplomatic effort that is warranted considering Iran is reported by experts to be 3-5 years from having a large weapon.

CODEPINK of the Ozarks will hold a creative demonstration outside the office of U.S. Senator Claire McCaskill in downtown Springfield to bring attention to our wish for her to continue calling for a withdrawal of U.S. military forces from Iraq.

What: "Troops home for the Holidays" demonstration
Where: Office of Claire McCaskill located at 324 Park Central West
at the corner of Campbell and Park Central West Downtown Springfield
When: Wednesday August 29th 11am - 1pm

In July, Senator McCaskill voted for beginning to withdraw the troops from Iraq as outlined in the Levin-Reed Amendment. CODEPINK of the Ozarks appreciates that she is now starting to live up to her campaign promise of a "phased withdrawal from Iraq"; However, we also want to encourage her to consider the wishes of the voters that put her in office last November who want a quick end to President Bush's War in Iraq which was based on a campaign of misinformation.
