This is just a reminder of the Impeachment Rally tomorrow, Wednesday, Aug. 22, at
the major intersection of Glenstone and Battlefield in Springfield. The rally will
begin at 5 p.m. and last for one hour.
We have several extra impeachment signs that will be available if you don't have a sign, but don't hesitate to bring a sign just in case there aren't enough for everybody. As information several signs will say "Honk for Impeachment." This ought to be interesting, and fun. We know in the wave that is rolling all across America we have many more friends in the community than ever before. We look forward to seeing everybody possible that can be there. Please remember the policy is to extend courtesy and respect for all citizens. Even though some people are misguided, we are all in this together in America. Our intention is to communicate and educate the community in a positive manner by showing them the First Amendment is still applicable, and invite them to join us in our purpose of informed dissent at the way our government is being mislead. At 6 p.m. the impeachment rally will end, and then lets go support the Dept. of Peace meeting beginning at 7 p.m. at the Library Center, or the CODEPINK meeting starting at 6 p.m. at the Library Station. follow). Address: 408 W. Walnut
Greene County Missouri Democrats need to be outside both doors after each showing to ask people if they would help to get rid of Matt Blunt, a governor who cut 100,00 people (55,000 children) off Medicaid, and to elect Jay Nixon, a candidate for governor who has promised that providing health care to Missouri citizens is one of his top priorities. If people say yes, we will take their contact information and bring them into Jay's campaign. If you are willing to help at one or more shows, send an e-mail addressed to David and Vicky Trippe AND to Kellie Rohrbaugh. Tell us the dates and times of the shows you will attend.
