heard on an equal and level playing field.
Who Controls the Content?
You do. Content in
our online "central committee" is ultimately controlled by the members
and users. When a community member submits a story it is not automatically
posted to the Front Page or appropriate Category. Instead, the story or
information is placed in a queue where other Democrats can rate the value and or
relevance of the information. If community members feel the news or information
is relevant and important they will rate it as so. If it is spammish, offensive,
or not relevant to the topic then community members can give the piece a poor
rating.
Positive ratings
are rewarded with legitimate placement and subsequent legitimacy within our
neighborhood and trash is discarded.
Community
Rules.
There are no "Robert's Rules" in here folks. Content is moderated
by Registered Users and habitually rude behavior will be rewarded with poor personal
ratings assigned by other community members.
Although anonymous users are currently able to contribute to this open forum
through comments; Flaming, Personal Attacks, Threats and Abuse against other
users will not be tolerated.
