Poll after poll show that Missourians want change!!!

Yet, the Republicans want to thwart democracy and concentrate their efforts in Cape Girardeau to change the outcome of all of Missouri. They are flying 2000 people from other states to get their base out. 

This is actually great news. 48 hrs.before election and they have to resort to other states to motivate Missourians in the 8th district. Cape Girardeau, Rush Limbaugh's home town is in doubt.

We need to meet this challenge. Please join Veronica in Cape today and help her go door to door.

If you can't make it to Cape, make a difference in your town. Go out today, talk to people, tell them we need change. We are tired of the Rubber Stamp in congress. Last night I reviewed our opponents record and she voted 93% of the time with Republican leadership. This is not independent. She is listed as a, "Rank and File Republican" in GovTrack.US, a non partisan group. This is not independent. The culture of corruption in the people's own house needs to be cleaned up and Veronica is the one to do it. She will not be a Rubber Stamp for anyone.

Tomorrow, Veronica wants to join people who are going out and knocking door to door. Please let me know what you are doing tomorrow so we can arrange for Veronica to get there.

Then on November 7th, volunteer to be a greeter at your local voting place. Bring brochures, your yard signs, and wear your "Had Enough?" sticker. 
On the evening of November 7th, come join Veronica at the Bank of Salem reception room as we watch the election counts come in.

Dear Hambacker Supporters,

I have taken this suggestion from my supporters in the bootheel. I pass it along to you as a way to raise awareness on Tuesday. You may wish to do this in your country at your polling places.

Put Hambacker signs on your auto or in the bed of you pick-up and park across the street from the polling place. If the weather is nice, have someone sit near the vehicle and wave to people who are going in to vote.

Remember that you can access 95,000 phone numbers simply by going to my website and signing up to make phone calls for me throughout the district. You don't have to live in the district, or even in Missouri, to do this for me. Those who have cell phones can use your phone to make at least ten calls for me on Monday and Tuesday. Note: Also, try to have someone with a video cameras inside every polling place in your county. This may intimidate those who would be willing to try to steal this election. The Republicans have flown in 2,000 people to work the 8th Congressional District this weekend

The Victory '06 Campaign has identified Cape County as one of the areas of Missouri where we Democrats have got to cut into the usual Republican lead. Even CNN has reported that Cape County is crucial to Claire McCaskills Senate Race (Saturday, Nov. 4 broadcast). 

We have to go toe to toe with the Republicans in the GET OUT THE VOTE CAMPAIGN. Here is what we need you to do at the Headquarters Office through Election Day.

1) Go to Headquarters and call Democrats to be sure they vote on Tuesday.
2) Canvas at selected Democrat homes to drop literature with voter info on it. We need teams of people to do this because we are not going to every door in every block. We need a driver and a person to take the info to the selected houses.

You need to go to Victory '06 Headquarters on Broadway today. Call or do literature drops. Remember you will be talking to people who intend to vote Democrat.

We really are the difference in Claire's win in Missouri. She is counting on Cape County to come through for her. Our task - cut into the Republican voter margin in Cape County.

We will all feel really bad if Claire loses. We will feel much, much worse if we weren't out working when she most needed us. There are no tomorrows left in the 2006 Election Cycle. Do it today!
