From the Mail Bag: Letter from a Springfield Resident

I am so pissed. My healthcare lady just left.

Ellen is a Christian Like I. We live not push it.

She told me yesterday the agency she works with had what is refer to in-house meeting. The meeting was held at Broadway Baptist on Republic Road.

She said she could not believe it. They were pushing Matt Blunt. This is a business meeting, which I believe is against the law.

She said they sang religious songs and prayed at the end. She said she had a lady seated next to her and was laughing that this was ending up being a business/religious meeting.

If I did not like my girl I would change agencies.

This the same agency that one of the owners and 2 supervisors visited me last Jan. They ask would I like to meet Gov. Blunt. I said HELL no. They were surprised that I did not want to meet the Governor.

I told them I have known Governor's, personally since 1961. Iin SC I worked for one of the nation's greatest Governor's... Dick Riley. Dick Riley was President Clinton's Secretary of Education.

I informed them that Blunt is the second worst governor of this nation. He has destroyed this state just as his father Roy is trying to d. in Washington.

They sat 45 minutes listening to me rant about how I disliked the Blunts. Someone suggested I go to the invitation only meeting and voice my dislikes. I said they would use it in a commercial in the campaign and I was not going be use in that way. They would edit my comment out.

They might have called the police and took me out... Repugs do that. Can you imagine appearing in a commercial for that crook. I believe I told them that day he was a crook.

Anyone who knows me knows I do not hold anything back. They were polite and thanked for my time when they left.

I bet they have given a lot of money to the Blunts. The owner was bragging how much they have grown in just a couple of years. They are in several cities now.

I am so mad I hope you can read this. I hate the Blunts. I have been in allot of work business meetings and no one has ever spoke of politics.

I told Ellen she should complain. She is afraid of losing her job. She said she just sat there quietly.

I love Ellen and don't want to get her in trouble. Would someone tell me if this against the law.
