October 2007 Calendar of Events Voter ID Walk Come and join the Greene County Democrats on a voter identification walk to be held in the 135th and 136th legislative districts. The date is October 6. We will meet at Democratic Headquarters, 1764 S. Fremont (just north of the corner of Sunshine and Fremont), at 9:00 each Saturday morning for a short training session and then walk until 1:00-1:30 p.m. if you are able to participate in this walk, call David or Vicky Trippe at 865-6333 or e-mail them at d.trippe@mchsi.com. If we know you are coming, we will have your walking assignments ready. -------------- Franklin D. Roosevelt Women's Democratic Club:

Where: Democratic Headquarters (1764 S Fremont Ave) Representative Charlie Norr (D-137) will be the guest speaker. -------------- Senior Democrats of the Ozarks: When: Tuesday, October 9th, 2007 - 2 PM Where: Library Center, 4653 S. Campbell "Living green in Greene County." Guest Speakers will be Presiding Commissioner Dave Coonrod and Springfield City Councilman Dan Chiles. Come and bring a friend or neighbor!! -------------- Democratic Alliance Meeting: When: Wednesday October 10th, 2007 - 7 PM ( 6 PM Dinner ) Where: Prima's Mexican Grill -- 2101 W Chesterfield Blvd #A1 Jill Patterson from the Greene County Prosecutors office will be talking abut mandatory reporting. -------------- GCDCC THIRD ANNUAL MASQUERADE BALL When: Saturday, October 27th from 7-11 p.m. Where: Pythian Castle Tickets: $25 in advance, $30 at the door $10 off w/student ID (25 & under) LIVE MUSIC!!
